Jenny Barr began her two-wheeled off-road racing career at the young age of 7 on a 50cc dirt bike. After retiring, a mere 3 years later, she attempted a less motorized and more traditional sports. In 2009, she began racing bicycles on the road. After a few crashes, a knee surgery and the discovery of off-road cycling, Jenny abandoned road racing for the much more exciting disciplines of mountain and Cyclocross. She currently races categories 2 and 3, respectively for mountain and Cyclocross and looks forward to taking names and kicking ass starting with the 2011 cyclocross team.
Off the bike, Jenny spends her time studying communications at UW-Madison, drinking unhealthy amounts of caffeine (as she works at a coffee shop), cooking, reading about food, and working on her food blog.
