Sprint Workout

During my many many hours of cycling research and stock market research I often come across fun little articles that acutally provide practical and helpful advice.

If you are looking to improve your sprint or wondering what the typical sprinter does for a workout check out this little tid bit. If your not a sprinter it may also be beneficial to know what the typical workout is so if your coach has you doing the exersices in the article you may need to take your coach aside or find a better one.

Check back for more updates... and check out twitter for our new customized avatar (depending on twitter servers it may take time for it to actaully update)

Chippewa Valley Firecracker - WORS #5

Bill and Dallas along with many other brave souls dared to dawn their spandex and hit the trails what may be the hottest race of the year. I'm not talking attractive hottness either, temperatures for the race were well above 90 and the faces of many racers were anything but pleasant.

Despite the heat the fact remains in my opinion that the trail system on which the Chippewa Valley Firecracker are held on have quickly grown into perhaps the best trail system in Wisconsin, while other may disagree the trails chosen are technical, fast and selective. Each year racers look forward to the Chippewa Valley course after the grumbling has subdued over the long drive to get there, I'm sure I'm not alone when I wish this course could be uplifted and moved to, ooooohhh, the kettles for some season long enjoyment on a budget.

The race seemed to fair pretty well for the two Midwest Regional Teammates in attendance at the recent WORS race. Bill placed 25th in the Cat 2 (Comp) field and Dallas placed 22nd in the Cat 1/Pro (Elite) field, the heat and hydration matters played their unique rolls for each individual's race, however; both survived to compete again if a few weeks at WORS #6 in Franklin WI

up and running.... for the most part!

Over the past few days this page along with a corresponding twitter account have risen from the ashes. Finally after revising the site and making small tweaks to make this place as straight forward as possible yet eye catching I have a moment to compose the first post. In a day or so for I and for Bill Street only a mere 12 hours or so, we shall be taking part in the next WORS race and Bill will be doubling up with the Miner's Revenge in The UP. I'm hoping to get race reports up within a few days of all races and now that creative control has been granted to Bill, this blog should be rather active.

Check back here often as there will be some exciting news in the near future regarding the MidWest Kuhl program as well as updates and news from the Kuhl mother ship in Utah.

Cheers!

P.S. If you come across this page and ride for Kuhl please contact me so I can ensure you are well represented on this page
